*Galleria Huutos application period for Galleria Huuto Jätkäsaari and Galleria Huuto Uudenmaankatu

Galleria Huuto is an artist-run gallery with two exhibition venues in Helsinki. The exhibitions will run
for three weeks each.
The exhibition fees for Jätkäsaari 1 and 2 are 1350 € and for Uudenmaankatu 1450 €. The fees are
based directly on costs (non-profit principle), thus minor changes are possible. The fees include posters,
invitation cards and postage. The exhibitions are supervised jointly by the gallery staff and the exhibiting
artists. For sales there is no commission. Exhibition fee for the Kulmio (video room) in Jätkäsaari is 400 €.
The fee includes a video projector/player and invitations via e-mail.
The free-form applications should include curriculum vitae, an exhibition proposal and some examples of
current / previous works, such as a portfolio (size A4) or a CD / DVD. All electronic material must be both
Mac and PC compatible. Applications may also be sent by e-mail, but the size of the message with
attachments must not exceed 2 MB.
When sent from Finland, the postmark of the application deadline is sufficient. When sent from abroad,
the application must be delivered at the address below by the application deadline.
The applications for the spring 2015 must be sent by April 22th 2014.
