Art Walk Kalasatama is a free guided gallery tour in the neighborhood of Kalasatama.
The tour starts at Galleria Huuto (Panimokatu 1) at 2 PM and ends at Galleria Longa & Fönari (Tukkutorinkuja 6). Duration approx. 1,5 h.
The tour is held in English and the guide is a visual artist Sasha Rotts.
The galleries and exhibitions taking part of the tour on Sunday 1 October are:
1. Galleria Huuto: Sampo Malin, Kastehelmi Korpijaakko, Kaija Mäenpää, Simi Ruotsalainen
2. Kohta Taidehalli: Horia Bernea: Painter of the Demodern
3. Pajagalleria: Samira Belorf: On Tour — with Seal & Ardor
4. Galleria Longa & Fönari: Group Exhibition Measure of Time (Galleria Longa), Janika Holm (window gallery Fönari)
After the tour it’s possible to see an impromptu performance by astronomer Anne Liljeström & cellist Sergio Castrillón
at Galleria Longa, performance starts at 4pm.
The tour is not barrier-free.
