When preparing my earlier exhibitions, a chaos invisible in the exhibitions has ruled in my studio. The chaos remains in the studio.
I worked in the project space of Galleria Huuto Jätkäsaari for the beginning of the year. The space is fine and rough. I brought with me different materials piled up during the years, unfinished pieces and old works. With the material transferred from my studio, also the chaos came along. During two months, my goal was to build the materials into an installation where you could see a track of this chaos and the process itself.
My works are painting installations. I was born 1974 in Hämeenlinna and studied painting in the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. I live and work in Helsinki.
