Anna Broms is a Helsinki-based artist working in the field of expanded painting. Her practice centres on developing situations that explore porousness and restlessness. Rather than solid objects, her works emerge as evolving subjects. With her process-oriented approach, she engages materials with a delicate ecological sensibility.
Broms holds an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki.
