Even though our society is becoming more and more automatized and standardised, we humans still have the need to be humane. We want to bring life into the continuous rows of dull block houses, to the clinical office spaces, or for example to our computers desktops. Once when walking in the suburbs of St. Petersburg, where grey giantic blocks of flats continue one after another, to the horizon, I noticed that people had decorated their balconies with plants, paints, textiles, rubbish, changing the dull suburb to a lively community.

My exhibiton consists of attached and separate paintings creating an installation, network, story, equation into the exhibition space expressing the pulsating humanity under all this structure we have created.

During the exhibition I will held an art course for children aged 9-11, from 7.-9.6 and 11.-12.6. together with artist Hanna Heinonen. We will build an installation together with children to the exhibition.

I have done MA in fine arts in National art academy in Bergen, Norway and before that studied fine arts in Turku Art academy (Turku polytechnic).
