Violence is a dead-end escape route where the culture of silence may lead. This fractured world offers publicity as protection, a possibility to become an idol without having to search for the truth.
Jani Lempiäinen earned his master’s degree from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2008. He is also an associate member of the Finnish Painters’ Union. Lempiäinen has previously held one solo exhibition in Helsinki and has taken part in several joint exhibitions not only in Finland, but also in Germany.
